My work is a little different because of the unique skills and abilities that I possess. Many of these abilities are extensions of the work I performed as a commercial artist when I was younger. The transferable skills I aquired then are used today to solve visual problems. Today I can look critically at my own work to determine how to change it to make it more interesting.

The artwork that I create are traditional oil paintings painted on double primed canvas or a wooden surface like masonite. Each painting is a collectable one-of-a-kind that fits into the decor of an office or home.

Each on is an original artwork, a one of a kind. They range in size from 6"x8" to 18 " x 24 " or larger in some cases.

These bright colourful paintings are infused with texture and contrast. I use a range of techniques from thin washes to darker colours to get the effects I am known for. The images are 100% original,

When I paint on site I try to capture as much of the essence of the place as I can. I interpret the scene in a way that is unique to my style of painting. Using as few colours as possible, I record the light and shadow, reflections and highlights. I always strive to introduce colour where in reality, the hue I've chosen is not there. This is where a painting changes from merely recording the scene as it presents itself to art.
